I began breeding Siberian Huskies 15 years ago. I am grandma and great grandma to a number of little huskies you might come across through some of our social media! Even when we bred our huskies we always had Uncle Stinky (Happy) our ancient GSD. As he aged we decided to get our Leila because we realized how much we appreciated the security and companionship the shepherds provided. Life happened and Coop, our first born husky came back to live with us. After the passing of Happy we found ourselves being a 2 dog household once more. During the pandemic, we got Charlie. Smart is hardly the word to describe him. We joke that he is not a dog, but a real boy. Charlie could learn anything after a day or 2. After awhile it became apparent that he was a total Grandpa's boy. Leila lived for my kids, Coop lived for Coop. After some research on the history of the whites (grrr!) and poking around on AKC Marketplace, I found a breeder in Cincinnati with puppies from a HIGHLY successful show line. I went to visit them and fell head over heels for a spunky almond eyed, mousey eared bitty thing... Who became my sun and my moon (her babies are my "stars"), Yumi Yuki, means beautiful snow in Japanese. Though not half the social butterfly Charlie is, she is the sweetest, most beautiful dog. The most gentle dog mom I have ever encountered, and her pups have all inherited her sweetness. One day, while scrolling through a Facebook group for GSDs I stumbled across a post about a guy in Canton looking to rehome a dog. A white male shepherd, named.... YUKO?! so yeah, long story short, we have a young male named YukO now! quickly becoming the best impulse insanity move I have ever made. Smart as can be, gentle, and growing like a weed. If things continue, and his DNA testing with Embark comes back good, we are considering an all white litter in the future!
Our pups have been seen by Dr Melissa at West Park animal hospital since she first laid eyes on them via ultrasound. Dewormed bi-weekly since 3 weeks old. Vet administered puppy vaccinations and started on Simparica Trio monthly heartworm disease, five types of ticks, fleas, roundworms and hookworms . Our pups were started on a mix of Science Diet and BIXBY dog foods, for their reliable nutritional standards and the size of the kibble. After the pups are able to be moved to the slightly larger sized food, they are switched to Baby Blue by Blue buffalo and fed freely by a 25lb automatic feeder. Full bellied puppies get into a lot less trouble. From birth I introduced a pee pad and the kids really enjoy the 'use pad get reward' system we have instituted and it has helped keep our ways able to be done. We do not have traditional kennels and raise the pups in our home. We have a life saving dog door and the pups have access to the outdoors whenever they want it. Our puppies have been raised with kids and people of all ages and from all walks of life. I encourage friends with children to bring them to play. We have taken them all out 1 on 1 to a park, or on a road trip. We are striving to produce happy, healthy, pet dogs that are socialized and experienced with living a good life in a loving home. If you are looking for a best friend raised like royalty and with dignity since day 1, free range and never caged, you came to the right place!
